Dover Castle and Canterbury Cathedral

The trip to Dover Castle was beautiful! The castle was built on a hill so you can see the most amazing view. Dover Castle was used during WWII because you can basically see anything or anyone coming to attack them. They also have the famous underground Dover war tunnels, which we didn't get to see because there wasn't enough time. Needless to say I was very sad about that. :(
This is a statue… I didn't read the plaque so I don't know what else to say about it.
I think he was a captain during WWII but I'm not 100% sure.
This was a gun used during WWII.

I was a little obsessed with the cool guns they used here during WWII. I wanted someone to take a picture of me pretending to shoot the gun, but I had absolutely no idea how you were supposed to hold it so hopefully it looks like I know what I'm doing because I don't.

I don't know if you can tell because it is too foggy but if you look closely you can see the shore of France. It was very tempting to steal a boat and go back to France and eat another croissant. Oh, how I miss them haha.

This is me trying to be an artsy fartsy model in front of a cool window.

We then drove to Canterbury Cathedral. Later that night we got to stay for evensong. This was one of my favorite parts of my trip.
